Terms and Conditions for Use of Our Website
The text on this website constitutes the terms and conditions for use of the website. When purchasing access to the theory tests on bil-teori.no, the access will be valid and functional for the period stated on the access package. Access packages that apply for a period of more than one (1) day refer to a period that is continuous. The access will be operational after the customer has registered and the payment has been made. However, downtime may occur due to technical problems or other reasons. If the downtime is more than 10% of the access package’s validity period, customers will be paid compensation upon request. The amount of the compensation shall be in proportion to the size of the access package. See the heading “Complaint” for more information. All prices on the website are stated in Norwegian kroner (NOK). The amount will be debited from the customer’s card when the product (access package) is purchased.
Free theory test
Everyone has access to a free theory test. This contains 10 questions, but nothing more. It is intended to give an impression of how the theory tests work, so that the customer has an idea of what he/she can expect when purchasing an access package. The free theory test can be used as many times as you like. It is not allowed to copy the questions or answers in any of our theory tests for the purpose of distributing them or using them with other customers or users, whether for commercial purposes or not.
Syllabus
Our theory tests are based on the official topic list of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, which is dated August 2020.
Checklist
The checklist for the theory test is based on an official topic list from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, but it may change without our notice. We have taken as a starting point the topic list dated December 2015. Our questions are placed where we, based on our interpretation of the topics, believe they belong, and the list should not be considered a 100% complete list that covers all the points that may appear on the theory test at the Norwegian Motor Vehicle Authority.
Delivery conditions
As the access packages are digital products, there is no delivery time or shipping costs. Access to the products is gained after the customer has registered and completed the purchase.
Responsibility when purchasing
The customer is responsible for ensuring that only the desired items are purchased and in the desired quantity. The seller is not held accountable for incorrect purchases. However, the buyer has a cancellation period that can be used within the first hour after purchase. See the heading “Cancellation period”.
Customer service
Customers can contact us via kundeservice@bil-teori.no for answers to questions regarding the theory test, payment or other matters related to our services. Questions are answered primarily via email, and answers will usually be given within a short time. We cannot provide comprehensive, personal guidance for customers who want to pass the theory test.
Personvern
The website bil-teori.no is owned by Running Sandal, which also owns the website dataprotect.no, which offers data security services. We understand and respect the importance of privacy on the Internet. We will therefore not disclose information about customers/users to a third party, unless it is necessary to complete a transaction. We will not sell the customer’s name, address, email address, payment card or personal data to any third party without your consent. Personal data will be processed by Running Sandal, Hylliveien 6, NO-1821 Spydeberg. The information is required to make payments on the website. Providing personal data is voluntary, but if the information is not provided, the payment cannot be made. The information may also be used to contact the relevant users via email to conduct surveys or send offers, etc. Anyone who requests it will be informed of the type of processing of personal data we carry out. More important information can be found in the Personal Data Act (cf. par. 18, 19, 27, 28, which provides more information about the right to request access and the right to request correction). Extended access
Extended access means that you get a new 3-month access to our tests if you fail the theoretical driving test at the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. We offer this opportunity until you pass the theory test at the Norwegian Motor Vehicle Authority. Of course, we cannot guarantee that you will pass the theory test at the Norwegian Public Roads Administration after practicing the theory test with us, but you will have access until you pass, or until our service ends, depending on which comes first. “Extended access” is intended as a measure to help the customer pass the theoretical driving test at the Norwegian Public Roads Administration.
Changes
Errors may occur, and laws etc. may be updated before we are aware of it. Running Sandal is therefore not responsible for the questions containing incorrect information. If such information is discovered, it can be reported in an email to kundeservice@bil-teori.no, so that it can be corrected.
Account usage
When a customer purchases access to our theory tests, they are given their own user account. This account can be found at bil-teori.no/min-konto. The customer can access the account, and thus also the theory tests, by logging in with a username and password. The username and password are private and should not be used by anyone else. The customer can log in on all electronic devices, but when the customer leaves a public device (for example, a computer at an internet café), they must log out of the user account, so that it cannot be used by others.
Cancellation period
The cancellation period can be used within the first hour after the purchase is completed. The customer must inform us in writing that he/she is using the cancellation period, and the written request must be sent via email within one (1) hour after the purchase is completed. The request must contain the email address that the customer registered when purchasing, as well as the customer’s telephone number. The money will be refunded within 30 days. Access to the theory tests will be removed after the request has been received.
Complaint
If the customer experiences technical errors or technical defects in one of the products, the customer must notify Running Sandal in writing. This is done via email to kundeservice@bil-teori.no. If the error or defect persists for more than 10% of the access package’s validity period, customers will be paid compensation upon request. The amount of the compensation shall be in proportion to the size of the access package. In such a case, the money will be refunded within 30 days.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies.
